This collection of talks by Robin Kornman, given at Dorje Denma Ling in October 2004, presents the view and practice of the Dorje Dradül’s Shambhala terma texts: The Golden Sun of the Great East, The Letter of the Black Ashe, The Letter of the Golden Key Which Fulfills Desire, and The Scorpion Seal of the Golden Sun. Also included in the volume are several talks and articles by Robin on “The Cosmic Mirror,” “The Influence of the Epic of King Gesar of Ling on Chögyam Trungpa” and “The Thirteen Dralas of Tibet.” Robin’s commentary on The Scorpion Seal of the Golden Sun is published separately, as that text is restricted to Werma practitioners.
Providing a broad context for the Dorje Dradül’s Shambhala teachings, Robin fostered lively discussion among the program’s participants, which is well reflected in these transcripts.
These talks were the basis for the well-attended “Cycle of the Black Ashe” online course, presented by senior Shambhala teachers, hosted by Dorje Denma Ling in the winter of 2020- 2021. The course talks were recorded and are now available through Shambhala Online.
This text is restricted to practitioners who have attended a Warrior Assembly, or have studied all of the following texts: The Letter of the Black Ashe, The Letter of the Golden Key Which Fulfills Desire, and The Golden Sun of the Great East. Please state the location and year.
If ordering the Scorpion Seal talk, please state when and where you received the Werma Sadhana.
